Why hlw Keeble Hawson is willing to support its local charities

hlw Keeble Hawson has raised almost £3,000 for Sheffield charities, St Luke’s Hospice and Bluebell Wood after donating its expertise to their Will Month campaigns.

The firm, a long-standing champion of giving back to its local communities, provided its top-notch will writing services free of charge across 2016-2017 and invited its clients to make donations to the worthy charities.

St Luke’s Hospice aims to deliver the best possible palliative care in Sheffield for people over 18 who are terminally ill.

Bluebell Wood cares for children and young adults with life-shortening or life-threatening conditions. It supports around 250 families, both in their own homes and at its hospice, in North Anston, Sheffield.

Colleen Dooney, Keeble Hawson associate, said: “We are proud to have supported both these amazing organisations that achieve so much for all those affected by serious illness in the area, for many years.

“As well as lending our professional expertise for Wills Month, our wide-ranging fundraising initiatives include the Master Cutler’s Challenge, quiz nights, The Three Peaks Challenge and supermarket bag packing.”

hlw Keeble Hawson, one of Yorkshire’s largest law firms with offices in Sheffield, Doncaster and Leeds, has signed up to providing its services free of charge during Will Month for both charities in 2018.
