It’s the 7th consecutive year the golf day, which was sponsored by BCN Group, Frenkel Topping, Office Team and RMS has been held.

Speaking about the day, Stephen Loxton, chief clerk at Kings Chambers, said:

“Our annual golf day is always a terrific event and it’s fantastic that we’ve been able to raise such an impressive sum for Child Brain Injury Trust.

“It’s a charity that helps some of the most vulnerable children in our society and we’re tremendously proud to support the great work it does to help children and families who find themselves in some of the most difficult circumstance imaginable.

“We were lucky enough to just about miss the rain – no-one needed their armbands out on the course! We were really pleased to see so many familiar faces from across Manchester’s business community turning out to enjoy the golf and help raise a great amount of money.

“I’d like to say thank you to all our sponsors who helped make the event possible and to all our would-be golfers who came to support the event – it really was a brilliant occasion.”

Alan Underwood, Nick Reed, Phil Deyes and Steve Thomas from Excello Law took first place in the team event, making it round with a score of 95.

Steve Thomas also claimed the individual prize awarded on the day for his round of 49, while Ryan Wallace of Kennedys recorded the longest drive.
