Metro Bank ends 2017 on high with new Swindon store opening
London’s Metro Bank is to unveil its brand-new store in Swindon on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 December.
The new store is to be located at 1 - 4, Regent Street, Swindon, SN1 1JQ.
To commemorate, the company has set up a two-day ‘party’ for the local community. It will be hosted by the store’s local director, Jon Joyce, and store manager, Manish Vara.
The Mayor of Swindon and councillor, Maureen Penny, said: “I am delighted to be officially opening the Metro Bank Swindon store.
“This new store will be a great addition to our local community and change the way residents and businesses do their banking.”
Swindon residents will have the benefits of the new bank being open seven days a week, like so in London, and running early until late, 362 days a year.
Metro Bank provides instant account opening along with card printing, meaning customers can walk in without an appointment and walk out with an account complete.
This new Swindon store will also have over 2,000 safe deposit boxes for customers to store their valuables and free coin counting facilities for both customers and non-customers.
Craig Donaldson, CEO at Metro Bank, added: “We’re really excited to be opening our 55th store in the heart of Swindon and to show the community what great customer service and convenience looks like.
“We’re proving just what the banking revolution is all about. Every week thousands are voting with their feet in favour of a bank that puts them first and we can’t wait to make a real difference to the Swindon community.”
