Handelsbanken announces move to new offices in York
Handelsbanken has signed a 10-year lease or newly refurbished office space at Clifton Park, York.
The bank’s eight strong team is relocating from York Business Park where they were based for the past eight years.
The team will occupy more than 3,000 sq ft of office space at Maple House on Clifton Park business park.
Handelsbanken was advised by Langleys Solicitors, York and the Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank.
York branch manager Chris Ibbotson said: “Maple House offers a superb working environment and good location from where we can provide our services to businesses and individuals across the York area.
“The new premises will also support our plans to grow Handelsbanken’s presence in this thriving part of North Yorkshire.”
Tim Cross, head of commercial property at Langleys who advised Handelsbanken on the 10-year lease, added: “We are pleased to support Handelsbanken in its move to Maple House which provides high quality, modern office space with good accessibility to surrounding road networks.”
Knight Frank’s Sam Jamieson also commented: “This is a significant letting for the York office market and a tremendous opportunity for Handelsbanken to expand. These quality, new hi-spec premises with ample parking suit our client perfectly and we were delighted to be able to assist them.”
