Super Break launches exclusive short holidays with Newcastle International Airport
Super Break has launched of a series of exclusive short breaks from Newcastle International Airport, with flights scheduled for take-off in 2018, giving local holidaymakers the chance to visit even more of Europe’s destinations.
Following the sell-out success of its inaugural flights in January 2018 to Akureyri in Northern Iceland, which provide the first direct routes to this part of the country from the UK, Super Break has expanded its offering with a bigger flight programme scheduled for Winter 18/19.
Now the short break specialist has announced it is expanding its exclusive services further by launching new flights and in-destination travel experiences from Newcastle to Montenegro, Croatia and the Adriatic Coast.
Destinations now on offer from Newcastle International Airport:
- Montenegro, Croatia and the Adriatic Coast, including Dubrovnik.
- Iceland, including the Search for the Northern Lights Tour.
Katherine Scott, of Super Break, said: “We’re incredibly proud and excited to be launching our new chartered flight programme, providing holidaymakers from the North East with a brand-new selection of incredible travel experiences to choose from in 2018.
“Following the huge demand for our exclusive flights to Akureyri, Iceland, we have expanded the schedule from Newcastle International Airport to now offer travel experiences [that help] connect more holidaymakers to new locations, all from their local airport.”
Leon McQuaid, Newcastle Airport’s aviation development manager, said: “We’re really excited about Super Break’s new routes to Montenegro and Croatia from Newcastle.
“The Adriatic Coast has seen a surge in popularity over the last couple of years and we’re confident that the North East travelling public will take full advantage of these short breaks.
“The news that it has expanded its offering to the well-loved destination is brilliant and further proves its commitment to the North East.”
