Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Europe relocates to new London office in 'heart of the global insurance market'
Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of Europe Limited (ANDIE) is relocating to new offices in Leadenhall Street in London.
ANDIE’s London office is the headquarters of its European operation, and comprises the entire newly-refurbished 7th floor of the Hallmark Building at 52-56 Leadenhall Street EC3.
The office move brings ANDIE’s portfolio of brands together under one roof for the first time.
This announcement also follows on from ANDIE’s proposed completion of its acquisition of global telematics pioneer insurethebox, which is the largest and longest established telematics company with over 3.5 billion miles of data and includes the ‘drive like a girl’ brand.
ANDIE’s office in London also houses Toyota Insurance Management Limited, a joint venture company through Toyota Financial Services (UK) PLC.
The office is also home to the brands Lexus Insurance Management; autosan, which provides insurance services via non-Toyota/Lexus dealerships as well as classic car insurance direct; and Motor Ichiban, a specialist Japanese brand, which ANDIE acquired on 1st January 2018.
Motor Ichiban provides automotive insurance for Japanese expats working in the UK as a full Japanese language service.
Mike Swanborough, chief executive officer of Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of Europe Limited, commented: “ANDIE’s new office marks an exciting phase in our European growth strategy as we continue to deliver tomorrow’s mobility solutions.
“ANDIE’s European headquarters has been in London for over 40 years, and by relocating to Leadenhall - the heart of the global insurance market - we will continue to be at the forefront of the development of the mobility solutions of the future.”
With offices in the six European markets UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Norway and Belgium, ANDIE provides a range of retail and motor insurance products.
