Countrywide Assured appoints Leeds’ digital agency
Leeds based digital marketing agency Perfect Storm is celebrating a new account win with Countrywide Assured, the UK arm of Chesnara plc. It provides the management of life assurance, investments and pensions for over 300,000 UK customers.
After a competitive pitch resulting in three agencies at the final stage, Countrywide Assured, based in Preston, selected Perfect Storm as its chosen digital partner. The agency is currently shortlisted in the Best Small Agency of the Year category at the Northern Digital Awards.
The first project for Countrywide Assured will focus on the UX, design and development of a new website to go live in February 2018. This aims to support the company’s busy UK based contact centres by introducing an easy-to-use educational resource for existing customers to help them better understand and manage their financial products. Once live, there are further plans for additional content features and smart functionality to be rolled out throughout 2018.
Clare Birks, Head of Operations & Customer Strategy at Countrywide Assured, commented about the selection process: “We were very impressed by the quality of all of the businesses. The standard was very high at the final stage from a good blend of agencies.
“Perfect Storm took an impressive and fresh approach to the brief. They have a unique, interesting and effective agency model that puts talent, understanding and transparency at the heart of everything they do – things we had at the top of our selection criteria. They approached the brief with a real emphasis on, and great understanding of our customers’ needs and the different user journeys needed. We look forward to working with them as partners for years to come”.
Co-founder and director of Perfect Storm, Adam Errington, commented: “It’s been a mind-blowing 18 months for the agency, that’s for sure, and we’re delighted to be working with so many great companies like Countrywide Assured that share our values of doing things a ‘better way’.
“We’re lucky to have an amazing mix of clients, ranging from innovative local start-ups right through to household UK brands. We have massive confidence in everything we do, and it’s just really satisfying to see existing and new clients alike experiencing the benefits of how we operate and ultimately being delighted with what we do for them!”
Perfect Storm launched in summer 2016, with a new agency model which sees it utilising a network of partners, rather than employing in-house designers, developers and copywriters.
