Straight-A student who would benefit any local employer…

Rochdale student, Emillie Petznick, is struggling to find a job after receiving just one grade below the required B-grade English GCSE after she struggled to receive consistent English tuition in the build-up to her GCSE exams.

Despite acing all of her other subjects, Emillie spent 6 months without full-time guidance throughout the final academic year of her English GCSEs, but still managed to achieve an impressive C grade in the subject. She has since progressed to fly through her A Levels, with straight-As predicted in her results due in July.

However, after looking to secure either an apprenticeship or work experience placement in her desired field of Accounting, she has found herself being rebuffed by employers due to the majority requesting a B grade or above at English GCSE.

Emillie approached Rochdale-based recruitment agency, Recruitment Solutions, after hitting roadblocks in her attempts to find work after college, and her case prompted the company to fight her corner and waive any fees associated with finding the training contract she so badly wants.

Recruitment Solutions Managing Director, Karen Reynolds, said:

“When we heard about Emillie’s situation we simply had to help. Through no fault of her own or her school’s – and to a certain extent against the odds – Emillie managed to achieve a solid pass grade on her English course which we think should actually be a plus-point for potential employers, but unfortunately nobody has seen that yet. She’s shown the hardship she faced and beat by becoming a straight-A student now and we’re so determined to help Emillie find her way into accounting we’re more than happy to do it completely free of charge.“

Emillie is due to complete her A Levels this year and is looking for an opportunity starting immediately after her exams.

Business Development Consultant at Recruitment Solutions , Sheila McQuillam, added:

“Emillie will be a real catch for any employer, so I would urge anyone interested in taking on a really bright, young hard-worker to give us a call on 01706 712 388 or email me directly at sheila@rsnwltd.com.“
