Cheshire law firm strengthens corporate offering as local business landscape thrives

SAS Daniels promotes Partner in Corporate team

Leading Cheshire law firm, SAS Daniels LLP, has promoted Corporate lawyer, Paul Tyrer, to become a Partner, following his appointment to the firm in 2015 as an Associate, which was followed quickly by a promotion to Senior Associate.

With over 20 years’ experience of corporate law, Paul is based at the Congleton office and has established a reputation in the local business community for his commercial acumen and pragmatic legal advice. His experience includes corporate finance, acquisitions, disposals and MBO transactions with a particular emphasis on advising owner managed businesses.

Paul who grew up in Macclesfield and now lives in Congleton comments: “Having spent a number of years working in the city centre of Manchester it is great to be able to bring the benefit of my experience back home. Since joining the firm, I have worked with a number of impressive local businesses and I look forward to working with many more in the years to come.

“I’ve seen first-hand the number of companies and investors who see the ongoing potential in the Cheshire region. It’s great that local business owners and entrepreneurs not only have access to first rate advice on their doorstep in corporate and commercial law but working alongside my colleagues in our employment and commercial property teams, provides a real benefit to clients who need cohesive legal advice to help grow their business.”

Jeremy Orrell, Managing Partner and Head of Corporate at SAS Daniels, said: “Since joining the firm Paul has demonstrated the attributes and qualities we look for in all our recruits: integrity, utmost professionalism and a true team worker. His promotion recognises and rewards his outstanding commitment not only to our clients but also to helping develop the future growth of our firm.

“Business owners and managers shouldn’t have to rely on city centre firms, but instead have the legal and commercial expertise available locally, so they can continue to work closely with their solicitors at their convenience.”

Paul will be hosting the next ‘Business club’ lunch on Thursday, 22 March at the Tytherington Club. Please see www.sasdaniels.co.uk for further information.
