PHMG clocks off early for British Summer Time
Staff at PHMG are stepping into spring two days early by moving their clocks forward on Friday. The Manchester-based audio branding specialist is letting employees head off for the weekend an hour early to reflect the change to British Summer Time, even though the official change isn’t until Sunday. The move comes as part of PHMG’s existing benefits offering, with the company already providing perks such as grooming services, gaming consoles, a week off for marriage and a drinks bar. “As we close at the weekend, employees won’t really feel the benefit of the clock change in the office so we decided to bring it forward to ensure they do,” said Mark Williamson, Sales and Marketing Director at PHMG. “We’re always trying to come up with new incentives. Our staff are the heart of our business and we pride ourselves on having a workplace culture where employees feel appreciated and can have fun alongside their daily tasks.” Other company perks include free fruit, car valets, all expenses-paid company events, table tennis, pool table, transport allowances, free gym memberships and your child’s first day at school as holiday. PHMG also run a staff fundraising initiative, the PHMG Foundation, where employees get involved in a wide range of events to raise money for charitable causes.
