American Express creates 25 jobs with SME services hub in Manchester
US-headquartered financial services group American Express is expanding its UK presence with a new base in Manchester, creating a raft of jobs.
The office, located at at No.1 Spinningfields, will serve as a small business services hub for the North West.
Staff will focus on sales of the firm’s business cards and payment solutions for SMEs.
American Express created 25 jobs, including 18 sales roles, with the launch.
Colin O’Flaherty, vice president and general manager global commercial services UK, said: “We are excited to be expanding our UK presence with what will be our first dedicated small business services hub for Manchester and the North West.
“We look forward to opening our doors, getting to meet the area’s business owners face to face and being an active member of the business community.”
