North West ‘clear front runner’ as expanding Scottish firm announces recruitment drive
One of the largest personal insolvency providers in the UK has announced plans to expand in Greater Manchester.
Scotland-headquartered Creditfix will create up to 50 jobs at its new 4,500 sq ft office at Lowry Mill in Swinton, Salford.
Positions available will span several departments and include sales, management and digital marketing roles.
Pearse Flynn, chief exec at Creditfix, said: “Over the past few years, we’ve seen a significant increase in the number of individuals seeking professional help to get a handle on their finances, across the entire country.
“Though we’re currently supporting over 80,000 people from our offices in Glasgow, the need to reach more vulnerable people up and down the UK has never been more important.”
He added: “A new office in Greater Manchester will enable us to do so.”
Speaking further, Pearse said the North West was “the clear front runner” when the time came for Creditfix to choose a region to support its growth plans.
He continued: “[The North West] has such a diverse pool of talent and now, our priority is attracting and recruiting within our teams.”
