Canary Wharf’s Revolut launches app store for business banking
Digital banking firm Revolut has announced the launch of Revolut Connect – a new app store for business banking.
The platform will work to connect its business users with everyday tools and apps, allowing companies to integrate their Revolut account with software like FreeAgent, Slack and others that help with tax, payroll and expense management.
Plans are in the pipeline to expand Revolut Connect’s integration options in the near future, to include apps such as Sage, Xero, Quaderno and FreshBooks.
The Canary Wharf-based fintech currently has 60,000 UK and European companies signed up to Revolut for Business.
Users have made more than $350m (c.£265m) worth of transfers since the service launched in June 2017 and saved more than $14m (c.£10m) in fees.
Earlier this month, Revolut announced plans for a commission-free trading platform that could make investing more accessible and affordable.
