Unison Branches Engage Maxweb Once Again Following National Success Of Case Management Software
Wirral based digital and app development agency Maxweb is set to work with one of the UK’s largest trade unions once again following more demand for its innovative case management software.
The team, led by directors Mark Ainsworth and Liam Bailey, have linked up with a further two branches of Unison to introduce the bespoke system as part of a continued nation-wide roll out.
Devised with branch members and representatives in mind, the digital solution to manual case management is currently being used by a total of seven Unison branches including Blackpool Health, Central Lancashire Health and Sefton Local Government, with this figure set to increase by 60% by 2019.
Director of Maxweb Liam Bailey said: “We initially created this tool with multiple branches in mind however, the interest that we have received has exceeded our expectations in the first year and we are set to implement the system in a further two branches at least before the year is out. We anticipate further growth as it is gaining momentum within the trade union sector across the country.
“Over the last 12 months we have really immersed ourselves into developing this platform, which is continuously evolving. We are always looking at additional feature options to include based on ongoing feedback from the branches that use it with the vision to introduce it on a larger scale. It is key for us to ensure that each branch that takes on this system gets the maximum benefits and often this means tailoring the existing technology to really deliver a totally bespoke solution.”
In addition to the case management software, Maxweb has previously worked with Unison branches to develop a communication app that is currently used across seven branches nationally, allowing members to connect and share information, alleviating the need for traditional methods such as newsletters and emails.
Branch Secretary at Unison Blackpool Health, Christopher Tucker said: “Since myself and my team here at the Blackpool branch have been using Maxweb’s case management software we have noticed a significant improvement in the overall efficiency of how we work. Maxweb has been incredibly receptive and we have worked closely together to create a tool that offers a complete package whereby we can archive and file cases, live track and monitor cases as well as record all actions that are implemented by our representatives throughout the entire process.”
Director of Maxweb Mark Ainsworth added: “We are delighted to receive such a positive response thus far and we look forward to working with more branches up and down the country in the coming months. This system is completely adaptable and can work for a number of different companies and even sectors such as legal and HR. The benefits speak for themselves and have saved the likes of Unison Blackpool Health time, money and resource - which is invaluable to any organisation.”
