Inside Doncaster Racecourse’s new Hilton Garden Inn hotel
Doncaster has welcomed its first ever Hilton venue with the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse.
Located on the racecourse grounds, the venue comprises 154 guestrooms equipped with Hilton’s ‘Digital Key’ technology – a system allowing visitors to unlock their rooms using their smartphones.
The venue launched today (September 12) to coincide with the start of the 2018 William Hill St Leger Festival. It is the ninth Hilton Garden Inn-branded property in the UK.
Louise Thrussell, the hotel’s general manager, said: “We’re excited to bring Hilton Garden Inn to the heart of Doncaster, a cherished, historical cornerstone of England.

“Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse perfectly blends contemporary, outstanding service with classic favourites – from our warm and inviting guestrooms, offering plenty of space for both work and relaxation, to a freshly prepared breakfast at our signature restaurant, The Garden Grille.”
She continued: “And with the added convenience offered by our amenities, including daily evening room service, an around-the-clock shop for light snacks and refreshments, business centre, and fitness centre, guests will always feel right at home.”
Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse is the third built on the grounds of a UK stadium, with one at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light and another at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.
