Newcastle contact centre reveals 200 new seasonal jobs for region
Two-hundred jobs have been announced in the region in the lead-up to Christmas.
Newcastle contact centre, Echo-U is looking for candidates to fill full-time and part-time customer service advisor roles to work on behalf of its courier client, DPD.
The new seasonal recruits will be supporting the company in its peak season when the number of parcels delivered will significantly increase across the country.
Successful candidates will work across all customer contact departments and will be responsible for managing customer enquiries over the phone, email, app and social media channels.
David Blakey, joint owner and director at Echo-U, said: “The festive period is a truly exciting, but busy time at Echo-U.
“As we prepare for one of the busiest periods of the year we are looking for individuals with an enthusiastic approach to customer service.
“With the opportunity to work across an inbound campaign for an award-winning courier, our seasonal roles are ideal for anyone looking for flexible hours or to make some extra money as they prepare for Christmas.”
Echo-U’s full-time and part-time seasonal positions are available now and throughout the autumn.
Anyone interested in such a role should attend the St. James’ Park Customer Service Jobs Fair on Thursday October 4, 2018, to meet the team.
