Bluechip partnership leads to recruitment drive at CWC
County Durham software developers City Web Consultants have confirmed their formal partnership with global powerhouse Siemens AG. One of the world’s largest producers of energy-efficient, resource-saving technologies, Siemens plays a pioneering role in infrastructure and industry solutions.
City Web’s development team have worked on a number of emerging technology projects to help Siemens bring their R&D projects into the mainstream. CWC have been instrumental in building web platforms and amalgamating various technologies into unified cloud based systems, including virtual and augmented reality and the application of distributed ledger (blockchain) technology. Founded in 2010 and now based at Annfield Plain’s flagship sustainable office development The Greenhouse, City Web was previously headquartered in London’s thriving Shoreditch area.
City Web’s founder Adam Clarey said: “As a direct result of completing one project on time, in budget and to a very high standard, we are now working on 3 additional projects across 3 different departments within Siemens itself and with more in the pipeline.”
COO Kate Baucherel added: “It’s great to see such high-profile projects coming to the North East, and this is an exciting time for City Web as we start to grow our team.”
