Grocery specialist Natoora opens new store on Fulham Road with Sloane Stanley

Natoora, a fruit and vegetable specialist that supplies over 600 of London’s restaurants, has opened its 540 sq ft standalone store at 309 Fulham Road.

Working with Sloane Stanley to open the store, Natoora’s seasonal retail space sidesteps the traditional grocery shop with a geology-inspired layout, designed by Argentinian architect Noé Golomb with London-based cabinet makers FincH.

It aims to restore the ‘value’ of farming, equating the cultivation of produce.

Hannah Grievson, commercial property director at Sloane Stanley, said: “Natoora’s carefully designed store pioneering fresh produce is a wonderful addition to Fulham Road.

“The brand’s wholesome yet modern approach to grocery is a refreshing take on the classic fruit and vegetable shop and we are certain that they will be very successful in the local area.”

Only using two materials of cement and timber, products are organised according to their seasonal window, starting with early season produce and culminating in a fermentation and preserving room - found in the rear end of the unit.

This news follows the recent announcement that bakery brand, Peggy Porschen, will open its new flagship parlour on the King’s Road early next year.

Savills and Miles Commercial represented Sloane Stanley. BC Retail represented Natoora.
