Chill Factore is welcoming new recruits this festive period, with over 100 jobs available – from maintaining the smooth running of the slope to teaching guests to ski and snowboard, right through to supporting Santa in delivering Christmas joy to children in the North West. The leisure destination is home to the UK’s longest indoor snow slope at 180m long, and during the Winter, also plays host to the country’s only Santa’s grotto on real snow, welcoming thousands of excited visitors through the doors every year. Bringing over 100 jobs to the local area, the range of roles to cover peak season, which runs from October – March, includes 18 Santa’s Helpers, who will play an integral role in the Grotto offering from mid-November right up until Christmas Eve. Other roles open for applications include Guest Experience Team Members, Snowsports Instructors, Schools Sales Executive and Snow Experience Team Members. Brad is one of the many employees who began their careers at Chill Factore, having joined the team in 2016 as a member of the Snow Experience Team. After working in Events Co-ordination, he progressed to a role in in the Sales & Marketing team as a Corporate Sales Executive, giving him a wide breadth of experience across the business in a range of different roles. Brad says: “Chill Factore is a great place to work, especially when you love snowsports like me! No two days are the same – I love being able to work and collaborate with so many different people. Chill Factore also offers some great perks, like access to the main slope, free instructor training programs and discounts in some of the shops at BEYOND. I love being part of the huge team here!” Morwenna Angove, CEO of Chill Factore, says: “We are heavily invested in making sure we employ the right people here at Chill Factore, and many of the employees who join us on a seasonal role go on to progress with the company as valued members of staff even after the peak season has ended. “Christmas is our busiest time, and we are really proud that we offer such a special experience that will be a treasured memory for years to come. Santa’s Helpers especially play a huge role in that, as they are the first face our guests see when they come to meet the man himself! They are on hand to keep guests entertained and welcome families and children from far and wide to the only Grotto on real snow – it’s a real privilege to be able to offer this to our guests and is only made possible by our fantastic Christmas team.”
