Simpson Millar scoops major double award win
National law firm Simpson Millar has scooped a double award win at a major national ceremony which celebrates the excellence of individuals and organisations across the personal injury claims sector.
Simpson Millar’s Head of Abuse Claims Peter Garsden was recognised for his work and devotion to supporting victims of abuse by being named Claimant Lawyer of the Year at the 11th Eclipse Proclaim Personal Injury Awards.
On top of Peter’s impressive accolade, Simpson Millar’s Partner and Complex and Serious Personal Injury Lawyer, Rose Gibson, also picked up an award for her team. Rose’s team won Claimant Team of the year.
The glamourous black-tie awards ceremony, which saw hundreds of legal professionals attend, took place at Manchester’s Deansgate Hilton on November 28th.
On the double award win Simpson Millar’s National Head of Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence, Ian Cohen, said: “I am delighted that Simpson Millar has been recognised for two awards amongst so many esteemed legal professionals from across the UK.
“I’d like to say a huge congratulations and thank you to Peter, Rose and the whole team at Simpson Millar for their hard work, drive, and determination to achieve the best results for their clients.”
Peter has devoted most of his professional life to supporting victims of child abuse, he was previously recognised in 2017 by the Legal 500 for his dedication and hard work in securing the best outcomes for his clients.
Rose is known for her hard work, and advocacy, and has a solid reputation for striving for the best results for her clients, something she has passed along to the rest of her team. She was also recognised in the 2017 Legal 500 for her work representing families at inquests.
