Southern expansion to create 45 jobs with Yorkshire-headquartered bathroom retailer
A Yorkshire-based bathroom retailer has unveiled plans to expand in the South after opening a raft of new showrooms in 2018.
Last year saw Batley-headquartered Easy Bathrooms open 11 showrooms, increasing its network to 28 sites across the UK and boosting staff numbers 60% to 161.
Over the next 12 months, the firm intends to create 45 jobs by opening 10 stores in the South of England, including showrooms in Milton Keynes, Hayes, Swindon and Cheltenham.
Easy Bathrooms will support the bricks-and-mortar expansion with the launch of a new ecommerce website, planned for later this year, to boost online sales.
Lauren Fealy, the company’s operations manager, said: “We have our sights firmly set on our future – we’re excited for what that holds.
“We’re a dynamic company, we’re always growing and evolving.”
Easy Bathrooms added a 380 products to its range of bathrooms and tiles last year.
Lauren continued: “It’s important to us that we increase consumer choice and keep our finger on the pulse when it comes to trends.
“We also work with tradespeople and developers – and the housing market is looking positive, despite Brexit, so we’ll continue to improve our service offering to those clients too.”
