Bestway Wholesale’s Leeds Batleys depot team awarded Customer Satisfaction Award
Bestway Wholesale’s Batleys Leeds depot was awarded the company’s Customer Satisfaction Award at the company’s Employee Performance Awards last Thursday. The awards recognise employees who go above and beyond to provide excellent service for customers.
The Bestway Leeds depot team always strive for customers to leave the depot not only happy with their purchases but also with the standard of service they have received – after all, a happy customer is a loyal customer.
The team strives to give customers an enjoyable shopping experience, using their knowledge and friendly approach to build relationships which makes them stand out from local competitors. Bestway measures customer satisfaction quarterly by interviewing real customers and this depot achieved an average customer satisfaction score of 93.4% in the 2017-2018 financial year, thus demonstrating that they provide a consistently high customer experience.
Jason Longstaff, general manager at Bestway’s Batleys Leeds depot said: “The team is thrilled to receive this award and to be recognised for the hard work that goes in every day. Working for Bestway means we’re all part of a positive culture that rewards commitment and supports development for the future.”
What’s more, Leeds-based Ornuma Burke of the Bestway depot based on Intercity Way was also awarded Receptionist of the Year, commended for her friendly attitude to customers and her professionalism.
Dawood Pervez, managing director at Bestway Wholesale said: “These awards recognise the achievement, commitment and hard work of this inspirational team of people that are part of Bestway Wholesale. I’m delighted to announce these two award wins for our two depots in Leeds.
“Ornuma was nominated by her colleagues and selected as the winner from our 65 depots across the country, by a panel of employee judges. The Batleys depot team won the customer satisfaction award by demonstrating the highest consistent satisfaction across the year, as judged by real customers. For us, recognising those who commit to making our customer’s experience better, is of paramount importance.”
