International self adhesive label manufacturer creates new department.
Tees Valley based self adhesive label manufacturer, First Choice Labels Limited, welcome their latest recruit as part of the organisation’s continuous growth. The Redcar based business has appointed Steven Askham as Marketing Manager to head the newly created department.
Steven started his career in the legal sector but developed a passion for marketing and business development. In order to nurture this passion, Steven left his full-time job to attend Teesside University and study BA (Hons) Marketing; where he graduated with a first class honours and was awarded the Oxford University Press Marketing prize.
The new role will see Steven lead the recently created department in delivering the organisation’s marketing strategy.
Talking about his new role, Steven said: “I’m delighted to join the team at First Choice Labels Limited, they’re a hidden gem in the Tees Valley with ambitious growth plans – it’s an exciting time to join the business”.
“I also admire their work in the local community, including their continued involvement with Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, as I’m passionate about giving something back to the community whenever possible. “
Nigel Willis, Managing Director said: “Steven will be a great asset to the team as his strategic marketing knowledge and business acumen will help us achieve our growth plans as well as developing our own brand.”
First Choice Labels Limited work within a variety of sectors and with a range of customers, varying from local eateries to the NHS. The organisation operates from their 9,000Sq ft purpose built premises in Kirkleatham, Redcar.
