Ocado partners with courier service Stuart for 60 minute delivery
Online grocery retailer Ocado has teamed up with London-based courier company Stuart to offer a 60-minute delivery service to its customers.
The partnership comes as the online supermarket launches Ocado Zoom, which is set to be one of the fastest grocery delivery services in the industry.
Founded in 2015, Stuart is a courier led delivery platform specialising in same-day and on-demand deliveries. Since its inception the company has expanded across 40 cities in the UK and Europe.
Following the announcement of the service last month, Ocado Zoom has now launched with the help of Stuart’s dispatching technology and on-demand delivery knowledge.
David Saenz, Chief Operating Officer at Stuart said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with industry leader and innovator Ocado on Zoom and are excited to be enabling faster grocery delivery at such a pivotal time for this industry.
“By bringing together both companies’ cutting-edge technologies, we have built a service which facilitates the grocery shopping experience and gives consumers quicker and more flexible access to grocery shopping, matching their own fast-paced lives.”
