Green light for luxury Ripon market square apartments
Plans for a new luxury residential development in the Yorkshire city of Ripon have been given the green light.
Permission has been secured by real estate specialist ARBA Property Group to build eight new residential properties above the new Specsavers branch in Market Place West.
The two-storey development will convert the existing space above the optician retail unit into luxury one and two bedroom apartments with separate access, roof terraces and secure private parking.
Brought to market by local estate agency Dacre Son & Hartley, the development is expected to be completed later this year.
Dacre Son & Hartley area manager Chris O’Mahony commented: “Ripon’s rich history and the vibrant market square make the city a popular location for buyers from across the country, with easy access to Harrogate, York, Leeds, and the A1.
“The high specification of these apartments, together with the building’s attractive façade and the comfort of electric gated secure parking mean that the properties will appeal to buyers seeking a low-maintenance or second home in a city that is known as the gateway to the Dales.”
