Taylor&Emmet fields record line-up for Dronfield 10K

A 15-strong team from Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP will be pounding the pavements of Dronfield next month at the town’s annual 10K.

The group comprises runners of varying ability, who will be out in force to show the firm’s support for the event, which it is sponsoring for a second consecutive year.

Taylor&Emmet’s sporty staff will be among thousands gathering for the Dronfield 10K and 2K fun run, on Sunday April 7. For some, this will be their first foray into competitive running, whilst others completed the course last year.

Staff from the firm’s Dronfield, Bakewell and Sheffield city centre offices will be running, representing six different departments, with residential conveyancing and probate fielding the largest teams. As main sponsor of the event, their colleagues will also be on hand at the start line and to help distribute medals to the winners in various categories.

Sarah Gaunt, head of Taylor&Emmet’s Dronfield office, will be one of those taking part in the 10K. She said: “This fantastic family day out brings together the local community and I’m really looking forward to running again this year with so many colleagues. Sponsoring such a high-profile event is a great way for us to demonstrate our commitment to the town and thank residents for their continued support of local businesses.”

The Taylor&Emmet Dronfield 10K is in its 26th year and is organised to raise funds for the 7th Dronfield Scout Group and the Mayor’s charity. The well marshalled, undulating route comprises two laps of the roads around Dronfield Woodhouse and is accredited by UK Athletics.
