Leading professional services group commits to South Wales with new office in Cardiff

Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group is opening an office in Cardiff to better support the needs and aspirations of SMEs in the city and across South Wales.

The investment will enable the professional services group to work more closely with Welsh businesses, their stakeholders and advisors to help meet the financial and operational challenges faced at every stage of a business’ lifecycle.

Operating from Cathedral Road, in the city centre, the office is being led by respected IP Siann Huntley, who brings with her over 15 years’ experience of business restructuring and recovery.

Siann commented: “Despite these uncertain times in which we find ourselves - continuing issues surrounding Brexit, rising production costs and skill shortages - we know that there is confidence and optimism for future growth amongst SMEs in Cardiff and across Wales. Only last week a report was published on the almost 6% increase of exports from Wales to the EU last year. Sales to non-EU countries rose by just over 2%.

“While uncertainty creates challenges, it also presents many opportunities for Welsh businesses. We’re now very much looking forward to having a Cardiff base from which we can provide SME business owners and their advisors with a wide range of specialist professional services that are often required throughout a company’s life time.”

From the new Cardiff office – the 17th for Leonard Curtis - Siann will be looking to introduce more Welsh accountants to Lifecycle, a unique, free to join network which has recruited over 2000 members since its launch in 2016.

It helps accountants offer their clients the specialist services they need at every stage of their business lives.

Group Director Daniel Booth said: “We take a no-nonsense approach to finding practical solutions to the challenges faced by SME business owners and have established an enviable results-driven reputation for ourselves around the UK. We are delighted to be putting down roots in Cardiff, at a key time for the city and wider area.”
