East Yorkshire manufacturer eyes Asian Pacific market following government contract
Yorkshire manufacturer Heald looks to grow its Australian footprint after securing a government facility in Melbourne with its sliding bollard product.
Based in Hornsea in East Yorkshire, the manufacturer of hostile vehicle mitigation system was chosen by the Australian government for the tightening of security measures for the high-profile facility following a review.
Partnered with Australian critical infrastructure firm GK Solutions, Heald installed its Matador sliding bollard as part of a four bollard system to reduce damage and protect the area from potential vehicle attacks, a heightened threat identified in the security review.
