Sunderland SaaS platform expanding overseas following new regional roles
Sunderland-based WorkCast is aiming to expand its growth with the addition of 10 new roles to its regional headquarters and additional roles in Seattle and Edinburgh.
WorkCast, an online events firm with its SaaS platform Stratus, will be adding roles to its sales, marketing, tech and events teams as it continues to grow its client base and revolutionise the online events industry.
WorkCast’s CEO, Stewart Kibby, said: “With WorkCast Stratus, we have the most innovative product on the market globally and our platform is getting amazing feedback from customers.
“With this recognition has come unprecedented growth, and expanding our operations is only natural. As we expand, we know it’s important to keep our competitive advantage, which our Sunderland base allows us to do, so I’m excited that the bulk of this growth will be there. I think it’s great for the company and great for the region.”
WorkCast’s expanding UK presence includes a new office in the Edinburgh’s Leith, where the company’s newly expanded marketing team is aiming to continue growing its market presence.
The company has reportedly seen sales growth of over 25 per cent in the past couple of years.
This follows on from the launch of the latest release of its platform, WorkCast Stratus, in February, which is steadily taking market share from its US-based competitors.
VP of sales (North America), Chris Darch, added: “Since opening our Seattle office in 2016, we have seen incredible interest in our platform across North America and have achieved year-on-year growth of 40 per cent.
“So we’re excited at the prospect of expanding our sales and support teams as a result.”
