Aston Villa announces Kappa as new principal partner
Aston Villa football club has announced sportswear brand Kappa as its principal partner for the 2019/20 season.
The Italian clothing brand has signed a three year agreement with the club, and will provide kit and training wear for the first, development and junior and ladies’ teams.
Aston Villa chief commercial officer Nicola Ibbetson said: “I am delighted that Aston Villa have partnered with such a recognisable and iconic brand who have a long-standing reputation for delivering quality, eye-catching performance sportswear.
“In addition to collaborating with some of the leading experts in the field of technical sports kit and fashion, we are currently working with Kappa and Fanatics to ensure that all Aston Villa supporters are catered for with a wide range of replica kit and merchandise.”
Kappa’s UK managing director, Mark Ward added: “Aston Villa is a world-class club with a strong identity and heritage. This new partnership with Aston Villa reinforces once again our strong ambition in football connecting our brand with one of the biggest clubs in the UK.
