Thorpe Park Leeds office building acquired in £5.2m deal
The real estate arm of Legal & General has sold a prominent office building in Leeds’ Thorpe Park development in a £5.2m deal.
In a sale by LGIM Real Assets (Legal & General) represented by local firm Savills, Building 1200 was acquired by real estate company Due West Limited.
is situated on the Leeds Thorpe Park development, which is currently undergoing a 1.3 million sq ft expansion.
The two-storey 27,028 sq ft property comprising cellular office suites and meeting rooms has already been let on a 25 year year lease to workspace specialist Regus.
Simon Lister, investment director at Savills Leeds, commented: “Building 1200 is a well located, good quality first generation office development which has benefitted from the recent development activity on the wider park, this allowed us to achieve a strong sale price for our client.”
