Amanda McAlister wins Services to Law award at English Women's Awards

McAlister Family Law Managing Partner, Amanda McAlister, was last night presented with the Services to Law award at the English Women’s Awards - North.

The awards recognise the contribution made by women to various industries and professions, and are a showcase for the exceptional work carried out by those women throughout the North.

Before establishing McAlister Family Law, which has offices in Manchester city centre and throughout Cheshire, Amanda was National Head of Family Law at Slater and Gordon Lawyers. She holds the status “Eminent Practitioner” with Chambers and Partners, and is one of only a handful of individuals in the North West singled out as a Leading Individual by the Legal 500.

She has acted for leading figures in the world of sport, entertainment, government and media, as well as high profile business people and many others. She is also ITV This Morning’s resident family law expert, regularly appearing on the programme to answer viewers’ divorce and child law queries.
