Manor House Lindley shortlisted for trio of awards

Manor House Lindley has been shortlisted for three awards. The Huddersfield-based venue has been named as a finalist in Yorkshire’s famed White Rose Awards in the Inn and Restaurant and Rooms category. Manor House has also been shortlisted for two separate outlets within the venue, The Coach House and The Lantern Room, in the UK Hotel category of the International Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.

The White Rose Awards celebrate the very best of Yorkshire tourism and hospitality, whereas the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards is a globally recognised competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces.

The recent wins have come just after Manor House Lindley was also shortlisted earlier in the year for Best Employer in the industry-wide awards The Cateys. The winner is yet to be announced. The venue also previously took home Best Hotel Interior at the Northern Design Awards along with being awarded Five Gold Stars by the AA in 2018.

Manor House celebrated its first birthday recently, after opening its doors in March 2018. The stunning restoration and interior design by Sara Presley, along with the hard work put in by the Manor House team, has seen the hotel go from strength to strength and this effort is now being recognised by award judges.

Mark Ayre, General Manager at Manor House, commented: “We are extremely pleased to be shortlisted for these three awards. This recognition of our achievements in not just the design of the venue but the service we are providing to our guests is evidence of the hard work and effort put in by the whole Manor House team.”
