Berlin gallery brings exhibition concept to UK with flagship Seven Dials store

Real estate company Shaftesbury has announced that a Berlin gallery is set to bring its exhibition-store concept to Seven Dials this year.

LUMAS Gallery will take a unit at 21-23 Earlham Street as its flagship UK store, due to open this September.

Situated near the area’s Sundial Pillar, the 2,000 sq ft two-floor corner unit will display contemporary artworks in spaces designed to emulate home living areas.

Mark Beyer, COO at LUMAS Gallery, commented: “London has such a rich art scene, so it’s great to establish firm new foundations in the heart of the West End.

“We view LUMAS Galleries as a welcoming hub for people to meet and get in touch with art and look forward to being part of the wider Seven Dials community which shares these values.”

The gallery concept is the latest business to join Seven Dials, which has welcomed international brands such as Nappa Dori, Away and Farah in recent months.
