Global firm teams up with Yorkshire football club in sponsorship deal

A global strategic resourcing specialist with offices in Leeds and London has signed on for a new sponsorship deal with a Yorkshire football club.

Resourcing consultancy Hortor has partnered with West Yorkshire team Emley AFC, which has just undergone a rebrand, for a year-round sponsorship.

As part of the deal, the firm has sponsored the first team’s home kit, secured shed-end stand hoardings and become named sponsor of the club’s Dugout Diner cafe, which moving forward will be known as the Hortor Dugout Diner.

Hortor, which has UK offices in Leeds and London, hopes that the sponsorship will boost the local community as well as provide brand exposure.

Hortor co-founder Andy Nicholson, commented: “We have been looking at ways that we can support local organisations and those that have a positive impact on the community. When we were approached by Emley it was a perfect fit.

“For us, it’s always about more than just money and branding, it’s about values and creating lasting relationships that make a difference.

“Emley AFC are a great partner for us and we are very much looking forward to sharing in their success as they start the season in style!”

Nigel Wakefield, chairman of Emley AFC, added: “We’re delighted Hortor are joining us at the start of this new chapter and we are excited to see where this season will take us.”
