Four companies find new home at historic Leeds office development
Four firms have moved into units at the Joseph’s Well office development in the centre of Leeds.
Communicate Technology PLC, CW Harwood Solicitors, Medden Financial Services and Cobo Tankers and Services Ltd have all taken space in the 56,000 sq ft five-storey building in Westgate.
Tony Snaith, CEO of Communicate Technology, explained: “We will be bringing 10 staff to Joseph’s Well. We were in Cleckheaton but we’d outgrown the office space and there wasn’t the scope to expand. Therefore a trip into Leeds city centre seemed the natural route of progression. We also hope the new location will help us to attract the talent we want.
“Pullans have managed the refurbishment of the office space to a very high standard. They have been a great partner, working with us to ensure everything was finished on time. And their team has been very warm, welcoming and helpful in our transition into our new office space.”
Gareth Allen of CW Harwood Solicitors added: “We are currently very busy and needed to expand into quality offices near Leeds city centre. Joseph’s Well, with great office space and facilities, combined with ample on-site parking, was ideal.”
Originally built for Leeds clothing magnate and MP Sir John Barran, Joseph’s Well has been regenerated by property firm J Pullan and Sons.
Bruce Strachan, Property Director of J Pullan and Sons, commented: “These four deals underline our belief that Joseph’s Well provides the best value offices in Leeds.”
“These four deals underline the continuing popularity of Joseph’s Well. Following the refurbishment, we have seen an increasing level of interest in Joseph’s Well resulting in new lettings.
“Our new tenants reflect the versatility and flexibility of space here, which is attracting a real breadth of occupiers. The number of hi-tech companies here now reflects well on our facilities and cutting edge space.”
