Green energy firm expands into new Port of Tyne HQ

An energy consultancy has signed a three-year lease with the Port of Tyne for new larger premises.

The Green Energy Advice Bureau has moved from its previous base in South Shields to its new headquarters at the Port of Tyne.

After outgrowing its previous HQ at One Trinity Green, the firm has relocated into Atlantic House, a purpose-built single storey office building located within the Port’s Tyne Dock Estate.

The Green Energy Advice Bureau, which has UK offices in Manchester and Liverpool as well as European offices in Spain and Serbia, will use the new base to house a range of sales staff, including sales team managers, energy consultants, corporate pricing specialists and lead generators.

The firm hopes that the move will bolster its expansion plans, having experienced rapid growth since its inception in 2015.

Paul Cobb, director at The Green Energy Advice Bureau, commented: “We decided to take the step to move from One Trinity Green due to our expansion plans.

“The Port is a fantastic , local locations, which allows us access to all the amenities we need moving forward. In a short period of time, we have felt suitably-welcomed The Port made our relocation as simple and easy as possible, and we are over the moon, really excited to be in a position to grow over the next 18 months.”
