IG Group secures exclusivity deal with Portugese ceramics range

THE IG Group, one of the UK’s largest hospitality industry suppliers, has secured an exclusive deal as the sole distributor of a range of stylish tableware.

Portuguese company, Vista Alegre, has been manufacturing porcelain since 1824 and now has a worldwide reputation for its high quality products.

And now the company has unveiled its Casa Alegre range of stunning stoneware, with The IG Group having exclusivity of a number of ranges.

The range comprises ‘floral scent,’ deep blue stoneware in a range of classic and unusual shapes, ‘bronze’ which has an earthy look and ‘iris’, a two tone collection in contrasting and complimentary colours.

The exclusive collections also include ‘sauvage’ where the bowls and plates have an organic and textured feel and ‘whisper’ where the pieces are in dark colours but with contrasting lighter shades.

Stephen Hoey, CEO of The IG Group, said the exclusive deal highlighted the strong reputation the company has in the industry.

“They are fantastic, high quality products created with chefs in mind and they are the perfect for anyone wanting the perfect setting to showcase their culinary creation.”

The IG Group offer a whole range of products under their ‘exclusive’ and ‘established’ banners.

Along with Casa Alegre IG Group has exclusive deals to supply goods from brands such as Metropolitan Glassware, RAK, Sango, Urban Bar, Maxima and Heritage while its established ranges include Churchill, Steelite, Arc, Selden, SYR, Essity and Kitchencraft, among many others.

Based at the North West Industrial Estate at Peterlee, County Durham, IG Group provides glassware, crockery, bar and cocktail supplies from its 150,000 sq ft warehouses where it holds around 10,000 branded products.

It also has a new showroom at the London Design Centre, Islington, which opens this August.
