Huddersfield bedding retailer expands footprint with Yorkshire Bank support

A national bedding retailer based in Huddersfield has established a brand new warehouse thanks to support from Yorkshire Bank.

Time4sleep Ltd (T4S) has received a lending package from the bank, which has enabled the firm to establish a 35,000 sq ft warehouse in Wolverhampton.

Headquartered in Milnsbridge, T4S was founded in 2005 by husband and wife team Jonathan and Victoria Warren, and specialises in mattresses and bedroom furniture.

The new warehouse will enable the firm to offer next-day delivery for customers throughout the UK for the first time, with a new team of four brought onboard to run the operation, expanding the business’ headcount to 16.

Speaking about the deal, Jonathan Warren, director at T4S, said: “Our new warehouse is a fantastic opportunity to expand our company. With our online presence growing continuously, demand has been rising, putting pressure on us to adapt our business.

“Establishing a warehousing operation in the Midlands makes strategic sense and is a fundamental part of our growth strategy. The investment from Yorkshire Bank signals strong confidence in our prospects for growth and we’re thankful for the team’s support during the transaction.”

Anthony Cope, commercial relationship manager at Yorkshire Bank, added: “Victoria, Jonathan and their tight-knit team have created an efficient and dynamic business that is taking advantage of the online sales revolution fantastically well.

“We were delighted to be working with the business during this vital phase of their growth, which will set the stage for exciting new opportunities.”
