The Health Insurance Group becomes Towergate Health & Protection
The Health Insurance Group announces today that it is rebranding to Towergate Health & Protection. This follows February 2019’s acquisition of the company by The Ardonagh Group. The Ardonagh Group already owned Towergate Health & Protection, and as the businesses integrate, the name change reflects the businesses coming together to become a leading force in health and protection.
The new name reflects the broader proposition that the company can now offer clients, particularly in relation to protection. Clients will benefit from the scale of the business and the wealth of experience from the consultants.
It’s business as usual, and clients will continue to deal with the same experienced teams. With six offices, the company has a local presence across the UK, with specialist consultants in all areas of health and wellbeing, including international, PMI, group and individual protection.
Iain Laws, CEO of Towergate Health & Protection said: “We aim to be a pre-eminent player in the health and protection market: delivering excellence in this sector and outstanding client service, and coming under one banner makes that message clearer for clients. This is an exciting time for our business and good news for clients.”
Brett Hill, Distribution Director for Towergate Health & Protection said: “Our focus continues to be very much on the SME sector. We’ve built a great reputation looking after this important group, and that stands us in good stead as we promote our new company name, combined resources and extended proposition to more.”
