Bioscience firm unveils new expanded facilities at Gateshead site
The bioscience arm of a motion and control technologies manufacturer has revealed new expanded facilities at its Gateshead site.
Parker Bioscience Filtration, part of Parker Hannifin, has unveiled a new office and conferencing spaces as well as extended laboratories, manufacturing and testing facilities at its Birtley site.
The firm supplies and delivers systems for both upstream and downstream pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, specialising in bioprocessing solutions that aim to speed up development times and increase efficiency and safety.
Kris Holmes, general manager of Parker Bioscience Filtration, commented: “It’s hugely exciting to have opened the doors to our extended and refurbished site in Birtley.
“The investment in these facilities demonstrates Parker Hannifin’s commitment to our European customer base and through this, we have strengthened the level of technical support and service that we can offer across biopharmaceutical manufacturing.”
