London marketing agency lands deal with TikTok to boost European growth
Social media giant TikTok has appointed a London-based digital marketing agency to accelerate its UK and European growth.
Climb Online, which is based in Holborn, has secured the social video app as a client, primarily supporting its expansion across the UK as well as its European search engine marketing strategy.
Launched in 2015, Climb Online specialises in SEO (search engine optimisation), paid media and social media marketing and has worked with firms such as MADE, Imagine Cruising (Emirates Group) and Hewlett Packard.
The social media platform initially launched as lip-syncing app Music.ly before being acquired by Chinese company, ByteDance, in November 2017, where it later relaunched as TikTok.
Commenting on the news, Michael Bush, commercial director for Climb Online, said: “Climb Online is delighted to welcome TikTok to the agency.
“We now look forward to working closely with the team to develop an effective SEM strategy that will maximise the growth of the brand within key markets, whilst showcasing our capability to deliver creative and memorable campaigns.”
