More apprentices start to build their careers with Thirteen

Thirteen has welcomed its latest group of apprentices to the team as they begin to start building a successful career.
The group of 14 apprentices will be working with skilled and experienced staff across the organisation, where they will receive on the job training and a recognised qualification, up to level 3, in either business administration, IT and trades including electrical, joinery and plastering, to set them on the way to potential future employment. The group joins 34 existing apprentices who are already working at Thirteen. Senior learning and organisational development advisor Cheryl Hodds said: “Every year Thirteen’s apprenticeship programme goes from strength to strength and yet again we received more than 1,000 applications, so everyone should be incredibly proud of themselves.
“Over the last year we have continued to see a number of our apprentices take up fantastic employment opportunities with us. This is exactly what it’s about. Apprentices are our future employees and even our future leaders. “Anyone can start an apprenticeship, whether it’s the beginning of their career or a decision to change career. Everyone is welcome. It’s about having the right values and wanting to make a difference and contributing to providing the best service possible to our customers. “This is a great opportunity for people to build a career for themselves and gain the skills they need in a growing and successful organisation and I’d like to wish them all the very best for their future.”
