‘Luxury’ County Durham housing development set to launch
A housing development in County Durham set to deliver 14 ‘luxury’ homes is set to launch next month.
From October, homebuyers can view the show home at the Cathedral Gates development in Chilton.
Developed by homebuilder and property developer Homes by Carlton, the site comprises a range of residential properties including the firm’s trial modular housing project CoreHaus in collaboration with business management consultancy Fusion21.
The Newton Aycliffe-based developer secured a £1m investment from FW Capital to construct the properties.
Simon Walker, managing director at Homes by Carlton, commented: “I am delighted to announce the opening of the new view home at Cathedral Gates, a development of high quality, affordable homes in the region.
“We’ve worked incredibly hard to design and build the homes to a very high specification, which carry an innovative design and contemporary feel, that we think will provide the perfect home for people from across the North East.
“Our homes offer a higher standard of finish than many of the other traditional house types currently on the market and we’re looking forward to hearing people’s feedback on the range of homes available.”
