Healthy growth for vitamin firm with office expansion and turnover increase

A Yorkshire e-commerce retailer specialising in vitamins has relocated to new offices as part of its ongoing expansion.

Bigvits has moved its office and warehouse to new premises in Driffield in East Yorkshire following a turnover growth of 40 per cent in the past 18 months.

Established in 2009, Bigvits specialises in delivering premium US vitamins and supplements to UK and European customers.

The firm, which was acquired by a new management team in February 2018, has seen its staff numbers almost double, with further expansion planned both in the UK and overseas.

Will Brennand, joint-managing director at Bigvits, commented: “It’s been a fantastic eighteen months for Bigvits, with turnover and staff numbers nearly doubling. The move to Driffield means we can hold more stock and fulfil customer orders faster, in line with the latest e-commerce trends of quick deliveries.

“Since we acquired the business last year, we’ve had a clear strategy to grow. The new building offers us space to fulfil demand from both our wholesale and retail customers.

“The wellbeing industry is going through a period of huge growth at the moment and we’re seeing high demand for quality products online. Bigvits sources its brands from the best US manufacturers and our plan is to continue to grow our wholesale and retail presence in the UK and internationally.”
