Yorkshire care provider expands to larger office with NatWest six-figure funding injection

Care provider Dignicare has moved into a new office in Skipton with the support of £300k funding from NatWest.

The larger space will help the company achieve its ambitions of increasing staff numbers by 30 to 80 over the next two years, having already tripled in size since 2014.

The new premises – a Grade II listed barn which is five times the size of the firm’s previous rented offices in Bingley – has received a full renovation including new boardroom and gallery landing.

It will now play home to the firm which provides care and support for elderly people, helping them live as independently as possible.

Dignicare was founded in 2008 by qualified nurse Gizelle Armstrong and another business partner, with Armstrong taking full ownership six years later.

Dignicare owner Gizelle commented: “We were recently highlighted as being one of the potential top 10 growing companies in the region.

“The purchase of our new office space, which has been funded by NatWest, will allow us to implement growth plans and employ more people in the local area.

“We are now well placed to take on more staff and increase the size and reach of the services we provide, helping more elderly people get the care and companionship they need.”
