Show apartment of York’s tallest residential building unveiled
A renovation of a residential building in the centre of York has officially reached a key stage with the unveiling of its show apartment.
The show apartment of Ryedale House has opened its doors in the centre of the city following a renovation by developer Newby.
The sixth-floor two-bedroom show apartment situated on on Piccadilly offers panoramic views of York - including the Minster - and features floor to ceiling glazing.
Newby is transforming the building into 77 one, two and three-bedroom ‘luxury’ apartments, scheduled for completion in June 2020.
Anthony Mackle, sales and marketing director at Newby, commented: “We have been delighted at the response we’ve had since we opened the show home to the public for the first time.
“The views are absolutely breathtaking, with vistas across the city from both the open plan living space and the bedrooms.
“Plus, Ryedale House is conveniently located in the very heart of York so is perfect for making the most of the many attractions, shopping, restaurants and activities the city has to offer.”
