North East floor specialist rolls out the red carpet with new store launch
A North East household and commercial carpet and flooring specialist is set to launch a new retail outlet in Newcastle.
Prudhoe-based firm Floorscope is expanding operations with the opening of its second store at 1-3 Causey Street in Gosforth, north of Newcastle City Centre.
With over 20 years of experience providing commercial and residential flooring, the firm hopes that the opening of the new store will allow it to grow its reach in the high-end residential market.
Phil Nordmann, managing director at Floorscope, commented: “This is an exciting development for us.
“Gosforth High Street has a fantastic reputation for its thriving and local retail market with a great balance of local businesses and high-street brands.
“With the increase in footfall and passing trade we are looking forward to welcoming customers to our new premises and working with other retailers and businesses in the local community.”
John Spreadbury, non-executive chairman at Floorscope, added: “By opening on Gosforth high-street we are extending our retail offering to a wider retail and residential catchment area.
“We have further plans for expansion in the residential and commercial flooring market place and already have a long-standing and great reputation in the Prudhoe and surrounding area for our top quality personable and honest approach to providing specialist flooring.”
