Childcare group builds on growth with Yorkshire nursery acquisition
A North Yorkshire nursery has become the 60th acquisition of a rapidly expanding childcare group.
Just Childcare, which operates nurseries across the North, Yorkshire and South West, has announced its acquisition of Safehands Day Nursery in Harrogate.
The purchase of Safehands Day Nursery, which was established in 2004 and is situated within the Duchy area of the town, aims to further strengthen the group’s presence in the area, being the group’s fifth nursery in Harrogate.
So far in 2019, the group has made five acquisitions across the North as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
David Johnson, CEO at Just Childcare, commented: “2019 has been an exciting year for the group and we are absolutely delighted to welcome Safehands Day Nursery as the 60th nursery to join the Just Childcare group.
“The nursery has an excellent reputation in the area and is in a great location that compliments the other four settings we have in Harrogate.
“Over the past 12 months we’ve added significantly to the group and we are hoping to maintain growth throughout 2020 and beyond.
“We can’t wait to get to know the team at Safehands Day Nursery and work with them to further enhance the success of their setting.”
