North Yorkshire marketing firm lands FMCG account
A Yorkshire marketing agency is set for further growth after securing an account with the group behind major food brands.
Billington Group, the privately-owned group behind FMCG brands such as Glorious! Soups and the English Provender Company, has appointed Extreme to manage its multi-channel marketing.
Based in Harrogate, Extreme specialises in strategy, content, design, campaign and digital services.
Having handled the digital transformation of the group’s TSC-owned Glorious! social media account since 2018, Extreme is now tasked with increasing awareness of The Billington Group and its share of voice in key markets.
Polly Woodvine, client services director at Extreme, commented: “We have some very strong experience in retail and food and drink, so we’re absolutely delighted to have the chance to utilise this to elevate the creativity and innovation within The Billington Group.”
David Wilkinson, business development director for The Billington Group added: “Extreme were chosen because they totally understood the brief and presented solutions and opportunities that excited us.
“In addition, the people are down to earth , realistic and a team that we believe we can really work with. Not only that, but they have already transformed the Glorious! brand for us through social media.”
